Velux windows and blinds.

Post by Russ_270 » Mon Oct 07, 2013 2:35 pm

Has anyone managed to control Velux windows and blinds with demo pad? I think there own remotes use a wireless system, wondered if there was an interface to use IR, or dry contacts.

Yes I did although the site is not advanced enough for me to try it out yet.

The Velux windows and blinds, as supplied, all work with a remote that's not IR. Not sure if its bluetooth or RF but Velux can provide a unit that will send those commands but triggered using dry contacts. So a global cashe IP to CC should do the trick.

Link to its manual.

To update the install worked well. The Veloux KLF100 can be programed to operate a number of blinds or windows but if you need independent control you will need one for each window.
