Hi there,

I've tried to use your commands however they don't seem to be working.

I've set the device IP accordingly and used port 80, which is what my XBMC software is configured to use, and also tried the port 9090 which you stated to use...however neither work.

I have the other XBMC commands working...well, some of them, not all seem to work as expected.

I'm running the latest version of EDEN with BackRow skin btw.

Any advice?

JSON uses 9090 regardless of what you have set in XBMC that is for HTTP control.
Have you set XBMC to allow control from other devices ??
Make sure you have the device setting right, generic IP, correct address, port 9090 and UDP unchecked.
I guarantee these commands work and much more reliable than http.

Sorry I must have missed this post when you made it.
I don't know if I will add any additional commands at this point, it does everything I need for now.
If you have any particular commands you need let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Sorry for the slow reply...I didn't realise you'd posted back :)

I thought I'd done everything you'd suggested already however after double checking i had left the "allow other programs control" unticked...so ticked it, and it's all good :)

Thanks very much.

Hi -

I appreciate the work on the Commands included - they work great.

Anyone possibly looking at adding to the command set. I would like to have a wider base to take in more of the available commands. I have seen more used with other apps/programs. I wish I had the knowledge to create them myself but I am a total "NOOBE" when it comes to this.

Thanks

Ted

I may be adding some of the Live TV commands as I have just added that capability to my system.
As I stated in an earlier post if you have some specific commands you want let me know.
No promises, but I'll see what I can do. Summer months comming so not a lot of time for indoor projects :D

Thanks much for the reply!

I have 8 commands I would like to add to my XBMC setup if/when you have time.

They are as follows -

Shutdown
Back
Info
Reboot
Next
Previous
Zoom In
Zoom Out

Thanks again for your reply.

You can install MCE controller, if you require to use a keyboard within Demopad.

Attached is the DC1 file.
