Mine (VSX 922) works on port 23 so you could try that.... I found that the IP commands for up, down left, right and enter don't work so I use IR instead (via a Global Cache iTach WF2IR) - in case its a help...

I'll give it a go. I have an existing connection for IR from a GC wireless unit so it's not a problem. Only need the extra buttons that generally are not needed by the client.

On a VSX1021, the directional keys work, but there is a different set of IP commands for the Amp control and HMG control.

i downloaded these cmds but the Power On cmd does not work. Off is fine but Power ON not working.

Any idea anyone?

Hi,

the VXS922 Power ON i am using is "PO" but doesnt work.

I tried to learn the IR cmd and get the following:

But that doesnt seem to work either.

Could someone who has IP and/or IR cmd for VSX922 be able to send them to me?

You say the PO command doesn't work, have you tried sending the PO command Twice, My Pioneer LX83 Protocol says send twice. Worth a try...

Also PZ is power on/power off, toggle command
