I use this kit remote with the Velleman K8050 15 channel IR receiver to bridge between the iTach and devices that use wireless commands such as blinds. The K8050 receiver simply provides switched outputs that you can then use to connect to anything you like. Problem is it cost $40 for the remote and then you have to build it just so that you can use it once to generate the codes. Now you don't have to build the remote.
