Somethings that's bothered me for a while but ive never got round to asking about, is how the button highlighting works. Obviously you can create a button, and choose a highlight image to use when that button is in use via a setting a flag assigned to that button, but also, when you press that button, Demopad itself seems to overlay something to "darken" the button momentarily. I want to disable that so that the only highlighting is done via the image you choose, not with an additional darkening of the button. I also have a gesture area, which is a bit button with multiple gesture actions assigned to it. This does not have a highlight image as it doesn't need one, but with every swipe, it still darkens and acts as if its being highlighted, which is not the desired actions. This is more confusing because I have unchecked the box for that button that says "Highlight whilst being pressed"

can someone explain how to do what I want and disable to built in highlighting?

Version 1.4.9 of the app (the next release) supports the ability to turn this 'darkening' off for individual buttons
