Can any body tell me where to buy hardware from in the uk? I'm having trouble connecting to the online store! (IR hardware)
Yep, you could try www.globalcache.co.uk - I got a wifi to ir itach which is around £130 and has been great. It comes with a built-in ir reader so you can physically copy all your remotes commands although this is pretty time consuming! Demopad also provide access to a lot of ir codes plus www.remotecentral.com has loads available too. There are also a lot in the Device Command Database in the Demopad help forum. I would recommend you look at the new iTach Flex by Global Cache as you can buy different adaptors such as RS232 and IR emitters to use at the same time using one piece of kit - depends what and how you want to operate.
