RED Crosses instead of images from set 1 in designer

HI, I recently moved some files around and now when I open up a previously worked on project that included purchased images from Set 1 I get all red X's. how do I reopen it such that it uses the correct images?

It sounds like you renamed / moved the project.pad file, and didn't rename / move the project.pad_Files folder, which contains all the images for the project.

is there an easy way to see what folder it is "expecting" to see them in? that way I can move accordingly.

Not sure if this is the right answer, but it works for me...

Open the .pad7 file found in your 'Projects' folder with a text editor; it's XML. Look at around the 5th line and you should see the directory. A more laborious way is to open the .pad file in a text editor (if your editor supports opening binary files). Then around the 365th byte you should see the directory.

It is the name of the .pad file, with _Files at the end. For example, if your project is called "test.pad", then the folder is called "test.pad_Files". This directory is created by the software if it doesn't already exist, but it will be empty.

I have the same probleme of red crosse instead images in the Ipad application but only for the new buttons i add in the project the olds are ok.
The folder".pad_Files" is good and all images are inside but after upload in Ipad new buttons are a red cross.
What can i do?

Are you sure you have 'reload next time' and 'reload images' both set to ON in the settings of the app? And have you multi-tasking off, so that when the app starts it displays the 'downloading files' message?

And are you using 'standard' images, or the pro graphics which require an in app purchase?
