Hi,
Thought I'd give your software a go but have a problem. Downloaded demodesignersetup.msi but when i try to install I get the error message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not run" Using Widows 8 64.
Regards
Will not install
Re: Will not install
We are aware of an issue when running the software under Windows 8 which causes it to crash when exiting, which we are looking in to, but this is the first time we've heard of a problem installing it.
We installed it here under Windows 8 64 bit no problem, please email [email protected] for further assistance.

Re: Will not install
OK,
An update - it appears that some programmes will not install on my computer unless executed with Administrator rights.
By default .msi does not, when right clicking the msi file, from the resulting drop down box, give you the option to install "Run as administrator".
So I came across this web page:
http://www.symantec.com/connect/downloa ... menu-vista
At the bottom of the page there is a link
http://www.symantec.com/connect/sites/d ... sAdmin.zip
This adds a line to the registry which adds "Run as administrator" to the drop down options.
Using the "Run as administrator" option installed no problem.
This registry entry workaround was from the Symantec site and worked for me - as always one should only undertake changes to the registry on that understanding that sometimes this may cause corruption to your registry and stop your computer from working.
OK so now all I have to do is have a go.
