Can someone give me some pointers. I have a few Demopad projects completed but have come across a problem controlling a Primair AV amp. The learnt IR codes work every time when sent from my laptop but become very flaky when up loaded to the ipad.
I've played around with repeating the code position of emitter and different types of emitter. Every thing else in the rack works fine so I don't think its a network or connection problem.
I may go back with a RS232 adapter but still don't under stand why they work every time from the laptop.

Hercules is a good tool to confirm that what the app sends is the same as the PC sends, but I suspect you may be dealing with either a toggle code issue, or repeat issue. What hardware are you using to emit the IR code?
