Volume ramping up.
Hi. Wondered if anyone else has had this problem. Volume up and down are set to repeat when page loads, dependant on flags. Then volume buttons put flag up when pressed and down when released. This all works very well except for the odd occasion when the ipad is woken to adjust volume and it keeps r...

Re: Simple audio player
To answer my own post, and for the benefit of the 3139 viewers of the original post, I came across this useful little DAC that can play up to 24 bit 192KHZ audio when connected to a Raspberry PI. https://www.hifiberry.com/dac/ I've placed an order for one to try out. Lots of interesting reading on t...

Sending IR problem.
Can someone give me some pointers. I have a few Demopad projects completed but have come across a problem controlling a Primair AV amp. The learnt IR codes work every time when sent from my laptop but become very flaky when up loaded to the ipad. I've played around with repeating the code position o...

Re: Low cost Processor for DIY/Home users
Great idea, although I think IR outputs would make a small system neater, (hate all those little boxes and their power supply's) and from a sales point of view easer to convince a customer they need one.

Re: Time delays in Macros
Thanks for the reply. Would 10 simultaneous actions be considered as "many".

Time delays in Macros
I understand the need to use delays between commands to the same device ie power on, input 1, but is there a danger in asking Demopad to do to many things at once without delays between commands?

Re: Velux windows and blinds.
To update the install worked well. The Veloux KLF100 can be programed to operate a number of blinds or windows but if you need independent control you will need one for each window.

Simple audio player
Can anyone suggest a simple audio player as an alternative to the I tunes module, that will work in app, preferably with some storage via a USB drive? The simpler the better.

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS

Only thing I did diffe...

I know Arcam make DAB tuners with RS232 feed back of station ID and current program, but I can't help you any more than that.

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
That's interesting thank you. I do have one command linked to a button that should toggle the lights in the room I normally work in and I think I'm right, that any changes made to the command will be up loaded to the button next time I upload to the I pad. Just out of curiosity I did try it yesterda...

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
Thanks for the offer that's very kind, however I never got as far as integrating the Lutron into my program. I just entered the commands into the add edit commands box and then tested them from there. I wonder if I could spin things around on you and have a look at what you've done to see if I can s...

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
Spent some time trying to get this working without success. If the initial command is sent with a capital D for device or not depends on what has been typed into the telnet login in details in the Lutron configuration. The integration protocol published by Lutron advises separate log in password and...

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
I see. didn't spot the capital D until you pointed it out. Next time I'm on site I will give it a try.
Thanks for the advice.
