Centro-8M not issuing any commands
Just thought I would post this here as I ran in to it the other day on site and had me flummoxed for a while. I had a Centro-8M working out of the box, running firmware 1.4.8, then updated it's firmware to (I think it was) 1.5.1 and the Centro-8M stopped sending out commands of any kind. After a goo...

Re: New SKY Q
Mike,
Sky Q Silver comes with two remotes, one Bluetooth, one IR. Responds to normal Sky+ HD commands, but some buttons changed - i.e. no Backup or Sky buttons, and a new button that does "Exit to Video"
Ditto Sky Q Mini, just without the Bluetooth.

Re: Password protect pages
OK, thanks DemoPad. I was testing it in DPad Control Lite. Maybe that had something to do with it? It is complicated, isn't it! I did it this way so I can also set up a way for the client to enter their own passcode and change it over time. You know how these things are, passcodes get revealed and y...

Re: Password protect pages
Hi CSE & DemoPad, I am also trying to do this for a client who wants his Theatre to turn off at 11pm so his kids go to bed. But if he is watching it, he doesn't want it to turn off. I thought the best way to do this was with a 4-digit passcode. I have been fiddling around with this for a while now, ...

Re: Yamaha BD-A1040 IP control
Ok, after more fiddling, it turns out that the power command in the example is not the power command for this particular player. Really helpful. If you just type the POST bit, adjust the length for the number of characters in the XML part that you will enter below, and the HOST to the IP address of ...

Yamaha BD-A1040 IP control
Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has had any luck controlling a Yamaha BluRay player over IP. I have the control protocols from AWE that seem to suggest you need to write an HTTP POST section, then an xml section. Can't post full doc here as .xlsx not allowed as an attachment, but have added a scree...

(IR) Channel Number Macro
Hello All, Familiar situation - you have a template with some favourite channels and then either Sky move all the channels around, or you get a client that is Sport mad, not Movie mad, and you have to change three Commands to get the new channel number. I thought, why not just change a Number? PEP2 ...

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
Russ,
I hear you. All I am saying, and I couldn't have done it without Mr H if you're listening, is that the file he sent me had "default\x0D\x0Adefault" and what was needed was "Default\x0D\x0Adefault" (initial capital D).
Have you got the Lutron app working?

Re: Demopad control of Lutron HWQS
Guys,
I have this working on port 23, with a little help from Paul H. I don't know if this is relevant to you but I had to fiddle with the "Initial Command" and finally got "Default\x0D\x0Adefault" to work. I have complete IP control of four keypads...
Hope this helps,

Re: SKY HD EPG
Hello All, Just thinking about incorporating a n Avisoys 9100a into my projects. One question: Is it possible to address a particular one of the four inputs on the Avisoys 9100a? So on the Sky page you have a window with the Sky GUI, on the Virgin page you have the Virgin GUI etc..? Something append...

Re: Sky+ control over IP commands
tytherman, All I can add is that Wireshark captured several different uuids from the Sky box. First two didn't work. Don't know if this is relevant either, but I pressed a button on my Sky remote, so the receiver did something, then stopped Wireshark. This uuid, which was different to the two previo...

Here's my Sky+ HD CURSOR_DOWN command, if that helps?
