Re: Share Your Designs!
For all the Trekkies out there...I made this with a few simple shapes and a limited pallete the home page with common controls for audio, lights and blinds...all of the remote functions are placed on pages that are rarely used...volume is 2-way feedback from the amp 1.png most functionality is acces...

Re: Latest iPad App Update
Denon seemed to be intermittent in receiving 2-way status feedback but that was never really resolved by any action...it went away when i un-installed the app and re-installed it from iTunes. I really only use the volume status (MV) to generate a volume indicator on the pad and the power on/off and ...

Re: Latest iPad App Update
Most of the issues I was seeing were related to 2-way feedback from XBMC using the HTTPAPI. I rely on the feedback to set the current state and display thumbnails within the GUI etc. In version 1.4.1 the "disconnect after each command" flag was functioning differently to the way it did in 1.3.9 and ...

Re: creating buttons
I usually do this by hand in Photoshop and then save the output as a .png file with a transparent background. You can usually find a suitable blank button to start with using google and then add the custom icon/text in Photoshop before saving. Don't forget to save the final project as a native Photo...

Re: Dynamic Action/Commands
I have multiple commands on a single button. I try to separate them in time so as not to overload the iTach but for setting flags I set them all Off/On in a group (select the folder rather than the individual flag) and then set the individual one back to On/Off, eg for XBMC I have flags for the play...

Re: Dynamic Action/Commands
I usually assign multiple commands to the same button and then lock out each command with an appropriate activity flag, eg. watching blu-ray, watching xbmc etc. It is the easiest way I have found so far but would be interested to hear of a better way.

Re: Latest iPad App Update
I have cycled the iPad and the problem remains. Here is what i have observed the previous concatenation issue for adding variables to dynamic labels has been resolved...thanks 2-way feedback from XBMC with the GetCurrentlyPlaying() command returns two resopnses, 1st HTTP/1.1 200 OK/x0D followed by a...

Latest iPad App Update
Updated to version 1.4.1 this morning and now several of the features that worked in the previous version (1.3.9) seem to be non-functional, in particular it seems to be features that rely on 2-way feedback from the Denon Amp and from XBMC. I am currently trying to debug it further but just wondered...

Velleman K8049
I use this kit remote with the Velleman K8050 15 channel IR receiver to bridge between the iTach and devices that use wireless commands such as blinds. The K8050 receiver simply provides switched outputs that you can then use to connect to anything you like. Problem is it cost $40 for the remote and...

LED Graphics
LED Image files that I have used as a gauge replacement. The files are named to match the 2-Way output that a Denon receiver puts out following a volume change or in response to an MV? command.
