Re: Have a question regarding macros
Just at a brief glance, it all looks fine except different items of equipment can process commands at varying speeds. Some things can need a 10 second delay between startup and input/service. So try to use the macro efficiently during waiting. IP commands can be mixed but you need a good IP infrastr...

Re: lg oled rs232
Sorry I did not see the post, have been too busy! I have done a lot of the LG business TVs using the same 3.5mm jack. From memory you have to enable shop mode which you access through a discreet sub menu using your remote. Can't remember it but you can google that, which is what I do. Also I think t...

Re: Sonoff Wifi Switch with Feedback
Thats good to know. But does the Sonoff relay still work with Alexa direct through the Ewelink skills app ? I guess if its re-flashed you might lose the compatability. Does Tasmoto have dedicated skills? I was using Sonoff relay to trigger Demopad macros by switching Centro inputs, works every time ...

Re: LG IP Commands
Sorry Stik, I have not tried yet. But to setup Web OS on C4 you must enable Mobile TV ON, enable Quick Start+ And enable LG connect Apps. Oh and set a static IP of course. Then you just press a pairing request button and the TV will ask you to accept, no code required - but sorry I can not help you ...

Re: Removing a project
Great topic/thread. I have the subscription that gives you three cloud QRs but to make cloud space for more jobs (which are always DP hardware), I am constantly deleting old projects from my cloud. Here is the problem! I get called back to make a change. Then with a tiny change made there is no auto...

Has anybody got Regex working with Arcam RS232 ?
I hate their control routines, its 90% luck when it works

Re: CCTV
Not sure, its a good question, as other systems tend to use RSTP ports for that. I assume some processing power would be required? I guess if you can find a camera that works with webview or an NVR that allows Jpeg convertion on the second stream, then maybe it could be rendered. Let us know how you...

Re: Processing of hex values returned in 2-way feedback
Dear cv27, I also am disappointed with the dwindling forum, as it is a good learning tool and an understanding place to vent programming ideas and frustrations. I can also see how Demopad can not stand around promoting us, they need to pay the rent too! Recently DP helped me with some code that enab...

Re: New av system
Hi Nnuudd, It is hard to say given the info you provided. Can We assume you have Opus wall stations? With the ceiling speakers your wiring is already done and with Opus you already have decent 16bit amplification! How to best use any exising system right now! Add an Echo Dot to each area and go mult...

Re: Centro-8M IR learning capability and Port Setup 2-way feedback
Hi cv27, the serial cable can be any Prolific chip usb to serial cable - about ten quid online. It seems to work out of the box plugged into any 8M usb port, just set your serial values up via your 8M IP address. If using a 8M of course your IR will be two way using flags and programming. This only ...

SkyQ back at the rack
Is there any progress on SkyQ IP commands? I know that they are fully working with other systems. Can anyone confirm compatability with the the kiraQ.

Re: Alexa with Centro 8m
That would be great! (If there was such a device), Alexa, as far as I understand is cloud based, the device itself is just a microphone + portal to high end voice recognition servers. Which is why I turned mine one off, because of the privacy issue - your paying someone to record your voice in your ...

2 way feedback ??
I am using an 8 way relay IP unit as below. There is no problem controlling it from Demopad, it uses http: command line eg. (send data to a website) Http://192.168.1.4/30000/01 will open relay 1, if you change the last two digits to 02 it will close that relay. The unit always sends feedback after e...

Re: A few questions about working with numbers
I have found that a delay of 0.2 or 0.3 seconds works best for serial (RS232) feedback but for IP feedback it can get missed if you have a lot of network traffic. Feedback sent from your 3rd party device will not buffer, if it is squashed by another command it will most likely display default. Mind ...

Re: CENTRO-M
Is this a stupid question!
Can the Centro-M still send astrological timed events through its own outputs if the unit loses ethernet connection?
Thanks
