Re: REGEX expression Help

I have found the solution to this. In the 2 way feedback, if you send the captured data to a number (i.e. for gauge use) Demopad will round the number to a whole integer. However if you send the captured data directly to a label, then the full number is displayed. So if you want decimal and gauges f...

REGEX expression Help

Hi,

Can someone please help me in getting decimal place numbers from regex expression.

Using Vera 2 way feedback.

I have tried this - Outside Temp\".*temperature=\"(\d+\.?\d*)\" but still get single digit returned.

Thanks in advance

Copying/exporting labels from one project to other

As the title suggests. There is no option to export labels or flags for use in another project. So when i import the 2 way feed back, because labels and flags are not available the actions are set to zero. I can export numbers. Can anyone help on a good method to do this, rather than recreating all ...

Getting Status from Vera Heatit Thermostat

Not sure if you guys can help me but i'll give it a shot. I have sussed out most of the info required for the Heatit Underfloor heating thermostat. These commands all work. Heating Off GET /data_request?id=lu_action&output_format=json&DeviceNum=113&serviceId=urn:upnp-org:serviceId:HVAC_UserOperating...

Re: Sunrise/Sunset Times

Thanks, that could work. It’s only a couple of minutes after all. I found a site that i can actually plug in a url and it returns a JSONP. Is there a way to capture this information and then use 2 way with regex to set a label. Here is the URL https://api.sunrise-sunset.org/json?lat=xxxxx&lng=xxxxx ...

Re: CENTRO-M

The pro software lets you export IR codes from pre-defined commands into LIRC format for use with the IR trigger function, but there is no learning ability on the Centro-8M. Our Centro-CM has a 38Khz IR learner function though. Many Thanks, I tried to input my pro code again but got "Auth Error", E...

My real question was: does the IR input port also have learning capability? If so, when will this capability be exposed?
Did anyone get an answer for this? I have Centro 8M's and have a couple of remotes that, i don't have LIRC files for or even raw codes.

Re: My Own Media Player within Demopad

Wow is all i can say. I guess it works with playlists too. You got me thinking now. You could probably create html and javascript to do this also, host the site locally using xammp and set a web page interface in Demopad. I’m gonna get on it after I finish my new UI projects. Thanks for the inspirat...

Re: Using iOS San Fransisco fonts

Ok..... so for anyone interested, i downloaded an app called iFont. Which is quite a handy tool for seeing which fonts are installed by default and also shows you a visual of how the font looks.

Alas San Francisco font is not one installed on ios12.

Cheesegeezer’s Clean UI Project - WIP

Been working on a new UI for use my Demopad. Now i have a few more devices and more on the way, i felt it was worth the time to invest in something that looks easy on the eye. Very much a WIP still but luckily i have all the commands saved from previous projects. Anyway I call this UI “Iridium” here...
